Our Winemaker

Introducing Rachel Bordes, our beloved and creative winemaker. With a tender touch and boundless creativity, she crafts wines that stir the soul. A graduate of Cal Poly with a degree in wine and viticulture, Rachel's expertise and passion shine through in every bottle she creates.

Rachel’s dedication to her craft is evident in the unique flavors and aromas she skillfully blends. Alongside her work with us, Rachel also serves as Assistant Winemaker at Ram’s Gate Winery and also has her own personal passion project label called boRn, where she expresses her personal artistic vision.

Her wines are a celebration of nature's beauty and a testament to her deep connection to the land. We are privileged to have Rachel as our winemaker, as she pours her heart and soul into every bottle. Join us on a journey of discovery through her exceptional wines.

Megan is our operational powerhouse, driving the success of our wine business. With expertise in marketing, sales, operations, and website management, she ensures smooth operations and growth.

Ranch Manager

Leo, our farmer, is literally a master viticulturist and “grape vine whisperer”. After spending a lifetime in the vineyards, we were fortunate to meet Leo and bring him on board our team. All great wines start start in the vineyard and Leo is there making sure we start with the best! Thanks for all your contributions and knowledge!

Wine Consultant

Bowdoin, Bordes Wines consultant, has been our dear friend since the day we moved our family to California. Although Bowdoin worked the majority of his career in the technology sector, his passion has always been making fine wines. He initially started winemaking in his Napa barn making “Leap of Faith” wines that won multiple amature winemaking competitions acorss California. Today Bowdoin loves spending time in the vineyard and winery when not playing handball and working with Valerie, his wife, in the Bay Area real estate market.
